Helping Canadians love it

We know they say we're all lovin' it, but according to the American Consumer Satisfaction Index results released on Tuesday, June 19th of this year, that may not be the case. An article posted by Shine from Yahoo! discussed that the McDonald's actually came in last for customer satisfaction in the fast food industry in the States. But if they had something in place to answer questions like the one posed above by the Y U NO guy, maybe they would be able to change some of these opinions. The Canadian McDonald's chain recently launched a campaign called Your Questions in which they hope to answer your burning questions you have that you have always wanted to be answered, and hopefully dispell a myth or two. For example, Y U NO guy's question was answered by this video that McDonalds produced through the campaign:

So what do you think of this campaign? What questions have you always wanted answered by McDonalds, and have you asked them through this campaign? Would having your questions answered change your views about McDonalds? Comment below! Or maybe even ask the question yourself.

Eat meat or hit the street?

Last week we started off with a description of a typical hamburger, but was it the beef that got you salivating  or was it the mention of the lettuce, tomatoes and onion? When you order a BLT, do you ask them to hold the B? It seems that vegetarian options are very limited when it comes to fast food restaurants. Should all the veggie enthusiasts be destined to eat cold veggie meals when trying to dine in a dash?

Dixon.Patch.com wrote an article about a man in California who has started a petition for the American chain, In-N-Out to add a vegetarian burger to their menu. That got us thinking. How do you feel about McDonald's and Wendy's salads on their healthier choice menus? Do you think enough people want veggie options that menus should be expanded? Comment below!

Welcome!

A beef patty on a sesame bun with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles (maybe pickles aren't your thing, so no pickles) and onions, topped with ketchup and mustard. All grilled up and ready to go in minutes. Who can resist? We know we can't!

Welcome to Fast Food Frenzy, an industry blog which discusses the constantly changing fast food industry. We're here to talk with you about everything fast food, from where the lettuce from your burger comes from, to how decisions get made regarding what makes it onto a menu. Fast food frenzy runs on donations from those within the fast food industry, but we assure you, they aren't telling us what to say! They want us to talk with you to figure out what you find important, and how they can change to better serve you! So we know a lot of you don't think fast food is the greatest thing in the world - tell us why! Our conversation may make a change in how fast food functions in the future! Phew! Alliteration FTW!
